BEHIND THE PIZZA AT COLD TOWN HOUSE…

The pizzas at Cold Town House are an authentic representation of the Neapolitan style, as perfected in Italy. Combined with our very own Cold Town Beer, we arrived at a light, airy, flavourful and all round fantastic combination!

What is Neapolitan pizza?
Neapolitan pizza is characterised by a long fermentation process, which gives the pizza a light, fragrant base and crust.

What’s it made of though?
We use a hybrid flour mix of muticeriali, rye and spelt, with 1 ½ pints of Cold Town in every batch. The dough is hand stretched and shaped before being finished with delicious, traditional toppings.

What makes the toppings so special?
They’re all made from the best, fresh ingredients, sourced in Naples. Our Fior Di Latte is produced by Latteria Sorrentina of Naples and our tomato sugo is made from flavourful San Marzano D.O.P tomatoes.

How are they cooked?
Our bespoke pizza oven is supplied by Gianni Acunto Forni of Naples and built by artisan craftsmen. It runs at a temperature of 440°C so the pizzas cook in around 60-90 seconds!
